Bio

Stan Mitchell pioneered the building inspection industry on the West Coast. He also helped to establish a number of the practice standards for the building inspection industry in the United States through his association on ASHI's Board of Directors. Through his company, ABI, Stan's objective has always been to provide high quality, thorough, and unbiased service. Inherent in this objective is a technical and practical knowledge base that greatly exceeds what is available in the local marketplace. Since ABI's founding in 1976, he has personally inspected over 15,000 buildings. Through his work as an expert witness, Stan has consulted on over 500 cases nationwide and earned a respected reputation in the legal community. Stan is a licensed Architect and Home Inspector in the State of Washington.
