Bio
As a teenager Guy worked with his father, Vern Manwaring, in residential construction, later became licensed in Michigan real estate, and then took employment with the City of Tecumseh, Michigan, assuming the role of City Building Inspector/City Assessor. After several years with the City, Guy left to work in the real estate appraisal field and also began Certified Home Inspection in 1989. These past 28 years in home and building inspection have been a rewarding path and have seen Guy attain ASHI membership and status as an ASHI Certified Inspector. Through the Great Lakes Chapter of ASHI, Guy has attained the IBR, Inspector by Review, designation, as administered by his peers in the home inspection field.
ASHI membership and certification are an ongoing educational experience, with the continuing education that is required. It is extremely important to continue to learn about all avenues of construction, buildings and homes, to be able to help protect potential purchasers from unknown issues they may be headed for.
Guy is readily available for your inspection needs. Remember, don't get less than the best, "Call Guy before you buy!"
