Bio

Greetings and Welcome toFidelity Building Inspections, LLCI serve primarily the Washington State counties of King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Island as an inspector and expert witness in humidity & moisture intrusion analysis.After 26 years as a commercial and residential general contractor, I began inspecting full-time in 1997, and have received several certifications as the result of extensive training and experience.My certifications include: EPA energy rater, WSPCA Structural Pest Inspector, WSDOA Commercial Consultant, AHERA certified Asbestos Inspector, HUD 203(k) Consultant, and IAQ Environmental Specialist (mold, water, soil, radon).My equipment is state of the art, and includes infra-red cameras, digital imaging, gas leak testers, moisture meters (including EIFS testers), blower doors, duct blasters, computers and office sets.In addition to normal inspection work, I often serve banks, attorneys, agencies, and individuals as a Loan Phase Completion Examiner, a Condo Conversion Inspection Specialist, and a Residential Construction Consultant.I speak English or Spanish equally well, and can understand some Portuguese. In my spare time, I enjoy flying float planes, creating NW native american-style wood carvings, and writing.I currently serve the ASHI national education committee in planning our annual Inspection World Conferences, and promoting further education to all of our home inspectors nationwide.Please feel free to call me if you have any inspection or consultation
