Bio

Greetings. Thank you for considering me. After 30 years in computer networking and desktop support, I decided to move on. As a hobby, I've been repairing and renovating homes since Junior high school. My skills evolved to the point where I gutted and renovated entire bathrooms for family members. The renovations included installing new technologies for hot and cold water piping, drain, waste, and vent lines from the roof to the basement. I've installed new windows for bedrooms and bathrooms. I framed the interior walls for pocket doors and learned how to tile bathrooms myself. I researched how to install electric radiant heated floors and did it! It was a learn-as-you-go experience. I made mistakes but overcame them. My elderly mother and her cats appreciated the heated floor. If you are interested, contact me for some photos and videos of these projects. They are available upon request. I've run new electric service, including sub-panels, by myself, work that impressed professional electricians. I've installed over 15 new windows in my mother's house, following instructions from books and websites. I've patched a few holes with drywall and restored the wood molding to new. I've soldered copper plumbing pipes and installed new P.E.X. tubing. After 30+ years of D.I.Y. repairs, I have a practiced eye when evaluating homes I visit. Many people told me, "You should be a home inspector." I thought about it, researched it, and realized home inspection would fit me well. I've
