Find An Inspector Search
ASHI's Find An Inspector (FAI) search is the ideal resource to help connect homebuyers with ASHI-qualified Inspectors and Certified Inspectors in their area. Our FAI search allows homebuyers to view your profile, learn more about your areas of expertise and services, and the ability to can contact you to schedule a home inspection. This benefit is only available to Inspectors and Certified Inspectors.
ASHI Member Profile Customization
Updating your ASHI Member Profile with your business focus can give homebuyers a solid understanding of who you are and what you offer. Your member profile can be personalized with your contact information, licensing details, profile picture, service offerings, and company information.
Home Energy Score
ASHI has partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy and I.D. Energy to create a specialized program to give members everything they need to become a Certified Home Energy Assessor, complete with SIM training and Quality Assurance checks. Providing Home Energy Scores can be added to a standard inspection to provide more value to clients or added on as an additional service.

Logo Use
ASHI Members are encouraged to use the ASHI logo of their corresponding membership level across all their business platforms and assets. Use the ASHI logo to inform clients of your ASHI membership and commitment to professional excellence. As soon as a member joins, they will have access to the ASHI member logo, and will gain access to Inspector and ACI logos as they advance their membership.
Custom Logo Design
ASHI offers a Custom Logo Design service to create free custom logos for members. This service allows members to choose all graphic elements to design their logo prototype. And ASHI designers will work with collaboratively to create the final product. This service is beneficial for those who are new to the industry and want to launch their brand.
ASHI Discount Program
The ASHI Discount Program allows members to take advantage of savings across a wide range of products and services necessary to operating a successful home inspection business. Members will receive deals and discounts from brands like: Jiffy Lube, Apple, Liberty Mutual, LegalShield, Ford and many more.
Multi-Inspector Program
For companies that employ several inspectors or single operators looking to expand their team, ASHI offers multi-inspector discounts to groups of three or more inspectors. In addition to discounted dues, each company will be assigned a direct representative from the ASHI membership team that will help personalize ASHI's service to better fit their business needs.
InspectorPro Insurance with the ASHI Advantage
ASHI has partnered exclusively with InspectorPro Insurance to provide members with quality errors and omissions and general liability insurance offerings at a discounted rate. This means ASHI Members get better coverage for less money. Policies come with free pre-claims assistance to help stifle client complaints before they turn into claims. Equipment coverage and retirement coverage are available for ASHI Members to add to their policies as well.
Mentorship Program
The ASHI Mentorship Program helps newer or less experienced home inspectors get the guidance they need to be exceptional home inspectors by pairing them with experienced home inspectors, who volunteer to serve as their mentors. This program will help build relationships between members across the nation and will demonstrate the comradery that ASHI is built upon.

InspectionWorld®
InspectionWorld® is ASHI's annual conference held for home inspection professionals to gather, learn and discuss the various topics of the home inspection industry. It's a great setting to meet contemporaries, reconnect with old friends and make new connections. The conference features leading instructors that conduct educational seminars on a wide variety of topics, featuring basics for new inspectors, advanced specialization courses and business-oriented matters. The conference takes place in an expansive expo hall where attendees can interact with top vendors in the home inspection industry.
ASHI Edge
The ASHI Edge is the association's education platform that features a catalog of courses that members can take to earn continuing education credits for ASHI and specific state licensing requirements. The courses feature technical and business development topics, beginning with the basics and working up to an advanced curriculum, with most of the catalog free to ASHI Members.
Community
Local ASHI Chapters
ASHI has chapters across the U.S. that serve as extensions of the association on a regional level. ASHI Chapters exist to protect consumers and empower home inspectors in the same ways as ASHI National, but with a sharper focus on issues of their local markets. As a member, joining a local chapter offers many opportunities to develop professionally through chapter education events, as well as networking with fellow inspectors.
ASHI Reporter magazine
ASHI's flagship publication, the ASHI Reporter is the monthly print magazine that covers the "news and views" from across the home inspection industry and beyond. Articles found in the Reporter cover a range of topics from technical information and analysis, to opinion pieces that dive into the deeper questions of the profession and business building features. Authorship in the ASHI Reporter is open to our membership and gives an opportunity to share your point of view with your peers. ASHI Members receive a print version mailed to their home or office. The ASHI Newsroom is the online publication and news hub that keeps you up to date on all the trends and current events of the home inspection industry. Consumer Awareness & Education
Between ASHI's website, Newsroom articles, and other resources, ASHI strives to continually inform the public about all aspects of home inspection. Its main goal is to explain the important role that home inspectors play for consumers when buying a home, but also covering topics such as the home buying process and the responsibilities of homeownership.

Membership Advancement
ASHI membership has three levels of membership: Member, Inspector and ASHI Certified Inspector (ACI). ASHI encourages members to take the opportunity to move up the ranks of membership to become an ACI. Not only does this distinguish members within ASHI and to clients, but also earns a true third-party accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
ASHI Standard of Practice & Code of Ethics
As part of the association, all members are required to adhere to ASHI's Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics. Not only does this give members protection through clear direction on performing inspections and appropriate conduct, it also protects consumers during this stage of the homebuying process.
Report Verification
ASHI Members have access to the ASHI Verification portal where expert verifiers review reports to ensure compliance with the ASHI Standard of Practice and Code of Ethics. Report verifications is an important step to advance ASHI membership to higher levels. Some states require verified reports for state licenses, many of which accept ASHI's verification.
Leadership & Outreach
Board of Directors
Members that wish to take part in leading the association may serve on the ASHI Board of Directors. Board Members, along with various committees & task forces, play an active role in shaping the future of the organization. This prestigious position allows members to take on leadership role within the association and represent ASHI on a national scale.
ASHI Government Affairs (AGA)
The ASHI Government Affairs (AGA) is a division of the association dedicated to informing governmental bodies about the importance of the home inspection industry and how it protects U.S. citizens. Working mainly on the federal level, the AGA has accomplished various endeavors to keep the industry safe and thriving for years to come.
InspectPAC
A key force within ASHI Government Affairs is InspectPAC, a Political Action Committee whose purpose is to give ASHI Members a voice to express their political views. It is the only federal PAC that directly represents the interest of the home inspection profession in the nation's political system. ASHI's InspectPAC is very efficient and cost-effective way for the membership to combine forces and help support candidates who reflect their business views.
